How to convince my mom to let me wear makeup?

All my friends at school wear makeup, whether it be eyeliner, mascara, or eye shadow and i've told my mom before i feel left out and i just want to wear light stuff like mascara, with a little bit of glitter eyeshadow and she keeps saying that shes not comfortable with it, but i feel so left out when i'm the only one of my friends that can't wear makeup to school! she said i can wear lip gloss, but i would rather wear eye makeup since i have pretty eyes and i want them to stand out. can i have some ideas on how to convince her to let me wear makeup sometimes?? thanks for the help!!
