In the Caribbean, LOCAL PRODUCTS are always the cheapest because anything that is imported has the transportation costs.. It can cost as much as 50 PERCENT MORE for a product from the US as a local product of the same or similar nature. The last time I was in Nassau I paid $10 for a 6 pack of BUDWEISER to give as a gift.
