Bug bites on a cruise!!?

Today i came back from my cruise on Norwegian cruise lines to the Bahamas. About three days ago i woke up with bites in several parts of my body...we complained and they sent pest control to our room (they said it came out negative) we told them we wanted a different room and they wouldn't move us. My boyfriend and i decided to switch sides of the bed and then the following morning he woke up with terrible bites on his back...a bunch of them! we let them know again and they refused to change our room until the last night that we were there (this is because we finally got a hold of a manager). We were treated horribly and they kept telling us that the bites were from the sand!!!!! what do you suggest we do? can we get a refund of some sort? we experienced many problems and a lot of attitude. We cant get over how horrible this was...we have been on cruises before and this is the first time we travel with Norwegian and we have never been treated this way.
