Where to go for a family Caribbean vacation?

My dad (50 years), myself (25 years) and my two younger sisters (23 and 15) are all trying to plan a trip to a resort in the Caribbean but we need suggestions! We would like a resort that can accommodate and satisfy all of our needs...because of the wide age ranges we would like suggestions on the best resorts. My sister and I would like to shop, beach, nightlife. My dad would like water sports and relaxation. My younger sister...I'm not sure! Probably just beach stuff and shopping. I have been researching Jamaica, Bahamas and Aruba. Thoughts are appreciated!
